He closed his eyes and "saw" the brilliant golden light between his brows. Cautiously his consciousness "entered" that mysterious treasury, and he saw that the Primal Fetus Divine Treasury was a strange space, filled everywhere with golden radiance, like an ancient cave-heaven of blessing.
His consciousness sank in; the Primal Fetus Divine Treasury was like an ocean of light, radiance on every side, like a fairy realm. His consciousness was nourished by the light, and it was very comfortable.
How long his consciousness flew through that sea of golden light he did not know, and he found nothing at all.
"Isn't this supposed to be the Primal Fetus Divine Treasury? Why is there nothing inside? Did the god take back the treasure he meant for me?"
Shen Mu doubted. The treasury had been opened — then where was the treasure?
Suddenly he saw that in the sea of light there was also a stone statue, standing alone in the midst of the radiance, very out of place.
"Why would there be a stone statue in the Primal Fetus Divine Treasury? Is this the treasure?"
Shen Mu was astonished. His consciousness circled the statue, studying it up and down, and only then did he notice something strange: the stone statue was an illusion of his — it was not carved of stone at all.
This "stone statue" was neither jade nor stone, crystalline and translucent, yet it gave one a feeling of softness.
Strangest of all, the "statue" bore a certain resemblance to him — though more like Shen Mu as an infant, at two or three years of age!
"There's a statue of me in the Primal Fetus Divine Treasury? Did the god know what I look like, carve a likeness of me, and hide it in my treasury?"
Shen Mu wondered. His consciousness lightly touched the statue — and suddenly his consciousness flowed into it, beyond his control!
